Preaching Hate: Ken Hutcherson, pastor of Antioch Bible Church in Kirkland, said, "God hates soft men" and "God hates effeminate men." ... "If I was in a drugstore and some guy opened the door for me, I'd rip his arm off and beat him with the wet end." People like this, who preach hate in church, are scumbags. If I were a member of that church, I'd be ashamed. The pastor advocates beating people for being polite. That's pathetic, and utterly unChristian.
I'm for abolishing all e-voting machines entirely, unless they are open source and regularly inspected by UN observers. This story is just one of thousands about how useless the current crop of voting machines are.
TSA thugs steal baby food because the amount the parents brought, thinking of all the possible (and likely) delays, was apparently too excessive. Time to disband the TSA and put something intelligent and actually useful in its place.

The Surge
So the government idiots claim that the Surge is working. They don't even notice stories like this about people driven from their homes. The reason the Surge appears to be working is because the religious communities are being physically divided.
Our government did this to the people of Iraq. And the scumbags in our government are actually PROUD of it.

Disrespect? Yup, Republicans...
House Republicans disrupt memorial service for Rep. Tom Lantos.
A representative dies. He has a memorial service. House Republicans start calling votes in the middle of the service to disrupt it. I don't really care who you are, this sort of behavior ought to be punished.
The Republicans, of course, claim it's the other side's fault: "WAH! They started it by promising to actually conduct business after the memorial service! WAH!"

Democracy Means Counting The Votes...
So the Washington State Republican party once again attempts to stop the counting of votes as soon as they get the result they like. Just like in the widely disputed governor election (which was later determined by hand-picked conservative judges to be conducted properly, despite the whining of the Republican "leadership") they thought they could just stop the counting.
Huckabee isn't having any of it.
At least it's the Republicans eating their own instead of trying to steal the governor's mansion.
Maybe someday the rank-and-file Republicans will notice that their so-called leaders are scum and fix their party... back into what it used to be, instead of the party of dirty tricks and warmongering.
