Rapid Response

Our apologies for the poor packing job. I agree with you that it isn't acceptable and we are checking to see who packed that box. Due to the inconvenience I have issued a refund for your shipping charge of 5.49. Ok. I'm impressed. I didn't ask for anything or expect anything, but a refund on the shipping is very nice. And, since the socks aren't actually damaged, I don't have to go through any hassle of returning anything. And hopefully no one else will go through a problem with their box being half-open. All told, a win.
